Advice on Disassociating

hello my exjw/pimo/pomo friends,.

i am working on penning my da letter and wondered if i should use it as a tool to maybe wake up individuals as the boe will have to read it.. anyone have any advice on what i should say versus what i should leave out?

i am not going to fade as my family can either be loyal to blood or loyal to a man made religion.

i suppose --for the watchtower guys the real problem is--how to respond to it to cause the least damage.

they could say its just a fake: a video photo shop of morris only in a different setting--a booze store. blame it on an apostate conspiracy.

but then--if it is proved to be genuine--they are shown to be liars. oops.

or--they could say it was genuine. another fine example to the brothers..12 bottles of expensive scotch bought by a GB member on a sunday morning. yep--

or--say nothing. no need to--nobody else's business what he gets up to. after all--he is a GB member..he is gods channel of communication.

if you are genuine--you are one of the lucky ones who managed to keep their family intact. lots of us on here havent been so fortunate. please remember that.

those on here--like me--- who suggest the OP tries the fade method are only trying to show him the way to avoid the breakup of his family.

Longday..i really hope your right..and im wrong.

If its genuine its almost too good to be true. A monumental gaff by a GB member. How many genuine dubs have alcohol problems...and they see that.what message is it sending? Its a pity my dad isnt still alive...i think that video would have been the last straw for him.

if the video was genuine--and not a videoshopped fake ----then morris has set an appalling example to any dub who might see it. i'm an alcoholic--but even i wouldnt buy that much booze in one go.

i can imagine a lot would be seriously stumbled if they saw that vid.

BRANCH OVERSEER : "Apostates are GOOD people !"

this is quite incredible.during his talk, the branch overseer, made a special talk dedicated to the apostates.. he clearly emphasis his point, "apostates used to be between us, really you can talk with apostates, those people are good, of course their point of vue is different than ours now but they are mostly very nice poeple, and you shouldn't be afraid to talk with them.

"though as usual, the reaction of the brothers was quite the same, impassive, i was very surprise by this statement.i cannot assume if this is just a one man step ahead towards the apostates, or really a change in their policies, this came from the mouth of a branch overseer.of course, for obvious reason, i won't give the name of the brother, which is famous, but only here in an central european country.i would have expected him to quote more scriptures, but he didn't, he could have use the one for jesus himself :"you should love your enemies", as apostates were really the "enemies" for the wtbs for such a long time, maybe now that the king of the north is awaken, apostates are not so bad after all ?
